Basiliscus
Basilisks are very cryptic looking lizards. Reminding me of dinasaurs they are quite amazing in appearance. Originating in tropical areas these lizards are highly arboreal. Sometimes called "Jesus Lizards" for there ability to "walk on water". In all actuallity they cant walk on water, however they run at high speeds and have specialized feet. This allows them to run on water for short distances. These lizards are medium in size and require tall open cages. Basilisks are very beautiful but I cannot recomend them to beginners.
